 FAQ
« Result #1 on Feb 28, 2007, 6:52pm »

These are some questions I recieved when I had the site open before. More will be added in here as I recieve more of them.

Q: Can I be Lord of Primavera?
A: No, you can not. Kaja will choose when she finds a stallion.

Q: Can I be a royal?
A: No, you must be selected from the tryouts to become a royal.

Q: Why can't I join the Royal Cove?
A: Because, it is open to select members. Come when Kaja or the Lord holds a mass opening where they will select certain equines.

More to come. If you have any important questions, I'll post it in here.

Life had begun to slowly be pumped back into the land, leaving it green and several shades of brown. Frondscene that had shed its clothing, preparing to go skinny-dipping; in the freezing cold, now grew out their coats, shedding their brown skins for green. Spindly branches that had small buds waiting to open swung out at the crisp atmosphere, battling against some unknown and unseen force. Snow, that had managed to survive the warmer weather, clung desperately to the rough-backs of the branches, unwilling to fall to the lithosphere in defeat. The rodeo continued some riders not lucky or talented enough to manage to hang on for more then a few more seconds. The rest pulled themselves together to last the entire time, lasting the entire time that Mother Nature blew her breath throughout the land. At long last, calmness spread through Mother's system, stilling her rapid and frantic breathing. It was if all of Nature was waiting from someone to arrive and make his or her grand entrance. The winds held themselves back for once, not taking advantage of everyone else becoming idle. The dark shadows that had been dancing upon the lithosphere a few seconds ago froze, sensing the tense atmosphere that radiated from the wind's puppet master. Shadows crept back to their captors; the tree trunks welcoming back their prisoners with open, loving arms. Moments passed, the silence becoming a thin silk, spring blanket upon the land, although there was no heat to keep anyone warm for too long. At long last, the silence came to an end as the tense feelings left Mother and anger flowed greedily through her veins. She had been tricked and nobody ever dared to trick Mother Nature, oh no, they would now pay dearly with their life. The dull monotone tinted clouds fled from the atmosphere, allowing for the much darker clouds that Mother had ordered to plow into their territory. O, here we go now. No, it wouldn’t rain with a soft mist like it had all during the warmer months and like it had just a few joyous days before the official end of winter and the beginning of spring. Nono, a major thunderstorm was coming and Mother Nature was going to make damn sure it was one of her better performances. A smug smile spread slowly across Mother's face, the smile testing the luke warm waters that had been casting off her pleasantly perfect face, before settling in at home. As if saving their energy, the clouds lazily strolled in, allowing everyone to get a good look at what their presence would bring. With a hint of menace, the clouds unleashed a soft rumble, snapping the lands to attention. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a storm on the rage; please turn your attention to the center stage as they begin their performance. Smiling and thanking the announcement of Mother Nature, the clouds turned upon the land, snapping at the atmosphere, controlling and pushing Jack Frost into being awake. Frowning, Jack Frost glared at the clouds, wishing that Mother Nature would step in and stop them from being so pushy but his silent wish went ungranted. Unwillingly, Jack sent a cold gust of wind around the lands, even though it was spring and the land was supposed to be released of all cold winter beings. But, there were always little twists and turns in this game we call life.

Sparking, the lightning lit the skies up, flashing their brilliant set of teeth to the lands as it took a snap at the fragile frondscene. Of course, there was going to be several towers of frondscene that would fall to the lithosphere upon this night’s storm but there were also thousands, maybe millions still standing, laughing at the lightning. Snarling, the opposite rage of the lightning shook the lands, snapping them out of their joyful moods. With the correct action, they shuddered into one another, falling victim to the wind as it whipped through tiny holes in the frondscene and rocks. The softly rippling water of the waterfall now looked like someone had placed all its contents in a large jar and had decided to shake it, laughing all the while. At the moment, small waves shook the water, disrupting its smooth, glassy surface. With a tense look, Mother Nature glanced toward the lightning, waiting for it to appear once again. Honestly, she was enjoying the show at the moment. Oh how she loved to torture the Island, to watch it morph beneath her gentle fingers. Feeling the careful gaze of Mother Nature upon its back, the lightning gathered itself up, ready to open its jaws to reveal its set of pearls once again, ready to scare the Island of Primavera into submission. With a precise movement, lightning brightened up the skies, fading the chestnut equine that had stood in the midst of the storm into the view of the land. Stifling a gasp, Mother Nature looked down at the equine, sending the winds into a tizzy around its physique. The lightning, stunned by what its flash had pushed light upon, stopped short in its tracks, amazed. Snorting, the equine started to back away, melting into the dark shadows that had consumed the equine and held it captive only moments before. Shaken by the equine’s response, Mother Nature slowly trudged forth, completely forgetting about the mess that she had started. Gently, she extended a finger, letting it trace down the equine’s topline. With the combination of the cool breeze and the soft touch, the equine trembled, tremors rolling down its physique. Smiling, Mother Nature backed away, knowing who this equine was and why it was here. With a strange sense, the equine knew as well that Mother knew everything and that she couldn’t hide any longer. Sighing, the equine stepped into view once again, letting the elements play with her physique as they wished. Kaja was a friend of the deceased Primavera Queen, Instra. In a flash, the mare shook her crown, sending chestnut tassels flying around and into her line of vision. Slowly, Kaja made her way forth, becoming drenched in the process as she trudged her way through the cold and rain. With great care, Kaja picked her way closer to the main fall of the land, slipping several times on the slick rocks that paved the way. Paper thins flared, water attempting to snake up into her passages and drown the mare from inside. But, all that was solved with a simple snort, which was enough force and air moving to make all the water be blown from her passages.

Above, the thunder blasted, making Kaja flatten her duos to her crown, flesh attempting to embed into one another. Tassels that had once been so free and light now clung to her physique, being weighted down by the mass of the rain that clung to the rough surface of her tassels. Swiftly, the mare flicked her cord, sending dozens of droplets of water flying into the atmosphere, temporarily ridding her of the extra weight. But, it didn’t last long. Within seconds, more water clung to her physique, drenching every part of her body. Tonight, with this storm, it reminded her of when her mother had been killed by her father. At the time, Kaja had only been a year old, just finally stepping out of the shadow that her mother, Dei had created for her. Her father was Inveros, the Dark King and her mother was the Dark Queen, Dei. That night had been just like this, the rain constantly pouring from the heavens – to which Kaja did not believe in at the time – seeming to never want to end. Dei had been away, attending to the needs of the other lands around them. Inveros had been at home, keeping their hellions under order, charging away the lowly mares and stallions that were always attempting to grasp their land. And then there was Kaja, who had been wandering the lands borders, watching everything from beneath their birds’ eye view mountain. Scaling down the face of the mountain, Inveros had spotted a lone, pale-coated mare wandering the base of the mountain. Surprisingly, this mare had intrigued his interest, unlike the other ones. And without Dei around, he was more then able to play around with the courts and countesses that were standing ready at their mountain. From her view, Kaja watched her father charge down and toward the mare, looking nothing as angry and menacing as he should have. Sensing what was going on, Kaja fled away from borders, searching every land for a trace of Dei. Finally, the young mare caught her mother and dragged her away from business, promising that everyone would get a chance to gawk at her tomorrow. But, by the time the duo returned home, the ivory, nameless wrench had disappeared, Inveros back upon his perch surveying the lands. Still believing Kaja’s story, Dei wandered up the mountain, scowling and glaring balefully at Inveros all the while. Sure, the King of the Damned was expected to have mares falling at his command, always on the ready to carry out his lines and duties but from what Kaja had said, this was different. It was almost like Inveros had known the mare and asked her to come here. Dei was in charge of asking different mares to come to the mountain and Inveros was in charge of the stallions. And Dei did not remember asking a single mare that looked like that to come to the mountain within the last week. Tired of the family drama, Kaja turned away from her parents, slowly making her way back down the mountain. All night, she heard them screaming at one another, the other equines at the mountain becoming restless as they feared the breakage of their King and Queen. But all appeared well in the morning, putting Kaja back into the mood that she had been in the day before. Restlessly, Kaja watched the duo, sensing for signs of breakage. Little did she know that it was breaking time.

After the fight had passed, a wide distance remained between Kaja and Dei. For some strange reason, every time Kaja would step into her view, Dei would leave, keeping Kaja confused. Shrugging away their differences, Kaja began to ignore Dei, not even coming back to the mountain sometimes after already being gone for two or three days. A month passed, Dei finally growing closer to the daughter that she had once shunned. Once again, none of it lasted long. Hiding away one day, Dei hid in the shadows of the mountain, watching as the still nameless wrench came upon the land once again. As quickly as the time before, Inveros fled to the mare, watching her with intense eyes. With a practice look, Dei faded into the shadows scheming all the while. It didn’t take long until Dei came up with a plan and it was finally Kaja that she needed. Everyone knew the Dark Heiress but this mare seemed oblivious to everything except Inveros. So, why not invite this mare up to the mountain and why not the highest peak as well? There, Dei and the mare could get comfortable before Dei shoved her off the top of the mountain. Smirking, Kaja listened to her mother’s plan. It seemed fool proof enough and seeing as she was the Queen of the Damned, she could get away with quite a lot. During the dawn hour of the next day, Kaja trudged out in the rain and found the ivory mare at the border of their land, still half asleep. Quickly, Kaja wasted no time. The filly basically told the mare that the King and Queen wished to speak to her at the highest peak upon the mountain, just for the use of privacy, later that night, just after twilight. Nodding, the ivory mare had agreed and just by chance, she had whispered her name; Havoc. Kaja just nodded and turned away, walking back up the mountainside. At last, she allowed herself the dark chuckle, snorting and coughing while struggling up the mountain. Dei finally came into view, watching with slitted occuilies, glaring down at the ivory mare who at least Kaja knew as Havoc. She had a brief conversation with her mother, telling her about the incident and when it was going to happen. Then, she slinked off into the shadows for what seemed the thousandth time that day to find Inveros. But it was all too late. In the blink of an eye, Kaja saw Inveros shoot up the mountain, toward Dei with a prominate look of rage and confusion. Without waiting for Dei to speak, he body slammed her, sending Dei crashing to her cannon bones. Shrieking, Kaja attempted to scale the mountain but even though she was young she was still working on figuring out her extra long appendages. And then Kaja saw the palomino physique that was her mother’s, slide down the rocky face of their mountain, slamming into several large rocks before coming to a stop about a tenth way down form the peak. With stunned, short movements, Kaja walked stiffly to where Dei lay, probably dead and scratched to hell. At last, her occuilies found Dei, laying stiff and two of her appendages bent at a strange angle. No doubt she was dead. Silently, the rain whisked away the blood, ridding the scene of evidence. Suddenly, Kaja heard Inveros shouting at her, "You better leave as well right now or I'll do the same to you as Dei." Without any prodding, Kaja fled the mountain and the whole island, coming here.

That was just the night her mother died, for we haven’t even scratched the surface of what was still below that layer. You might be wondering, how could Kaja go through all of that and be so neutral, so far from the mark that she had been born with. Well, Kaja always found a way to push herself toward the less dark side of things that had happened in her. She has this ability to repel all bad things she doesn’t want to see from her mind, which would be useful for almost everyone. Grimacing slightly, Kaja pulled her appendages to a halt, for they had brought her to the edge of the falls. A light spray was fading from the falls, soaking the mare but not as well as the rain was. The heavens were still busy releasing their large load, probably flooding over half of the lakes and rivers that were upon the Isle of Primavera. But, the mare pushed all of her past out of her mind, keeping it under lock and key, waiting to be opened for the next series of memories that they knew would come. Sighing, the mare turned her crown to face the waterfall, feeling the soft mist upon her face. Oh how she wished that her friend could have been here longer, to see Kaja return and to find her lands dead, except for her and another equine. There was probably not a detail that was missed by the young but knowledgeable Kaja. She could clearly remember all the twists that had transformed Instra's face when she laughed, when she frowned, whenever she dared to pull out her mobile features. Smirking, Kaja took a tentative step forward, into the water. Shivering, the mare pulled herself from the waters, glaring down at the water that moved so freely yet felt like ice. Throwing her weight slowly to her hind haunches, the mare spun away from the base of the waterfall, now looking up and toward the thick masses of frondscene. How she longed to be within their reach, to feel their cool shadows racing up and down her spine, sending a rush of chills throughout her physique. Snorting, she pulled herself back into the present, craning her spinal banner around to view the waterfall once again. Breathing deeply, Kaja steadied herself, preparing to rush in and get it over with. Even now, she could not tell you why she was so fixated with plunging into the cold depths of the falls or why all of a sudden she had been propelled to go to Oceana. Now, everything was done, she was here and damn well not going to leave so easily without a fuss. Shrugging her shoulders, the mare loosened up her stiff muscles, trying to remain relaxed before going into the freezing water that was going to seize up her muscles anyway. Appendages moved forth, pulling and pushing off the lithosphere, moving her closer to the rocky bed of the falls and finally onto the cold, slippery stones. At last, the water lipped at her hooves, begging her to come in and go for a swim, if only for a second. Sure, the water wanted her soul, to claim another stupid equine but, Kaja was smarter then the water thought. She pulled herself up halfway into the water, allowing it to swallow her fore appendages but mourn for the rest of her physique. Touch luck there. Snorting, the mare cleared her passages, releasing a loud nicker into the atmosphere. "Come everyone, anyone who may wish for mercy or for a home, I am open. But only for a short time." Clamping her jaws closed, Kaja awaited the equines of Primavera.

THE PAST

The shore stands alone, waves crashing against the shore, attempting to receive some attention, and yet doesn’t succeed. Bodies litter the shoreline, asking to be whisked away into the tides to be forgotten forever. Physiques of bay, black, chestnut, dapple grey, and other assorted browns lay listlessly on the cold sand, waiting to be taken in by the Sea Goddess, ready to be ridden of their sins. Slowly, two shadows rise upon the hillside, taking careful steps down to where the bodies lay. The white equine took to the shore, watching several equines be carried off into the midnight skies. While the other equine, the golden one watched the other closely, barely looking at the bodies that are strewn everywhere. The war was finally over, but they were both too late to save anyone from the heartache and despair of love and loss. All the war cries had ended, drawing the land into a deep silence. Rumors had spread across the land that the Obsidians had won and merged the Impartials into their ranks, leaving the Chestnuts alone to fend for themselves and obey to the Obsidians rule. There wasn’t much Instra or the Lord could do, at least not yet. But, in time maybe they could.

THE PRESENT

Today, the Obsidians are still in ultimate rule over the land, with the only real source of true power lying in the hands of Instra. Soon after the war, the Lord died of an unknown disease, leaving Instra alone to rule all of Primavera by herself. Now, with that year behind her, she is looking for someone to help take the burden and rule beside her as Lord. But, the Lady of Primavera has died, giving light to the new Queen, Kaja. The Chestnuts are without a leader or a Queen, falling victims to Toulouse, the newest Obsidian King. So far, the lands are quiet, the Chestnuts falling deeper into Obsidian rule with every day that passes. Will you help the Chestnuts or will you be seduced by the ultimate power of the Obsidians? Or will the power of being Lord have you hoping to sway the Lady of Primavera into your favor, for her to choose you to be the Lord of Primavera? Swim the tides to come find out, to watch the island grow with each day.

 Foaling Form
« Result #4 on Feb 15, 2007, 11:49am »

This is basically just the breeding form, so it shouldn't that hard to remember what you need. Staff, there is also an outline of what you need to post when giving foal stats. Please do not complain about getting a deformity, we try to make sure everything is far and in the wild, sometimes the foal is born with deformities.

Also, if you forgot something, a staff member will step in and ask you to include/change something. You do not have use this exact form, you change it around but include everything I have asked for.

Note: For heights, you can only go up to .3 before starting again at .1 for example; 15.5hh is not a height, that would be 16.1hh. Remember that please.
